SEC 2 process
The SEC 2 process can be used for industrial gas drying to remove steam and also undesired components such as ammonia. The plant consists of two adsorbers that work alternately. While the one adsorber absorbs steam or traces of ammonia, the other adsorber is regenerated with a partial current of the dried gas and also with the aid of the indirect or direct heating of the adsorber or the regeneration gas. The so-called regeneration gas can be fed back via the roof or possibly without any loss.
